Heya guys~!  I've been really lazy and not updating lately, lol!  Some interesting news to report in (:

First of all!  Remember the animated series I told you guys about in my last blog (Maybe not, but who cares! xD)  I've been cast as the role of a girl named Ashley.  She's basically the popular girl in school, and I begin with her seeking revenge on the main character for...well, I won't spoil it!  Anyway though, it's gonna be a lot of fun!  The series is called life on camera, and will be posted on YouTube when it's up and done.  Here's a link to the channel it'll be posted to, check out the first season, and subscribe so you can see the new episodes when they come out!

In other news, I made the End of the Week team, whoo!  Keep a lookout on the website for my articles, and post a comment when you get a chance! (And not just on my articles; let the other guys know how awesome their articles are too!)
Here is a link to my first article.  I've got 2 more written up and waiting for their turn to be posted, and some more ideas in the works.  We each write one a week, so keep your eye open for the name Patty Leigh~!

I haven't heard anything from the directors of the Umineko fandub, unfortunately.  But that may be because my character doesn't come in until a few episodes into the series.  We'll just have to wait it out and see where it goes.

On the note of fandubs though, a new scene may be coming out sometime in the near future.  I've sparked interest in voice acting in a couple of my friends, so we're trying to think of a good scene we can all do.  (:  I can't wait~!  I'm sure they'll be great at it

Not very much to report in the life of Kuri today.  Friday was the first day of Senior Year, which was pretty awesome.  Particularly since I get to drive myself to school this year.  It feels pretty great to not have to depend on my mom or my best friend to take me.  I was late a few times last year due to my ride being late; at least now, if I'm late, there's nobody to blame but myself (or traffic, lul), and that makes me feel MUCH better.

On a random note, my mom must've gone out to eat for lunch, because she brought me leftover fajitas from a local Mexican place.  Food reheated in the microwave isn't as good as fresh, but hey, it's fajitas, they still taste great!  I'm omnomnom-ing as I type this

Oh, I applied for a job the other day.  My cousin works at Toys-R-Us, so he said if I put in an application, he'd talk to his boss about it.  In fact, he's supposed to talk to her today, so I'm excited.  I'm lazy, so the idea of doing actual work isn't all that appealing to me, but I need some moneys!

I also applied for a spot on the staff of End of the Week.  For those who don't know, it's an awesome video game podcast, with a bunch of people on the writing staff releasing new articles to go with it.  I know a lot of the staff, and they're all awesome.  The podcast itself is great, too.  Check it out!  Here's a link to their site: http://www.endoftheweekpodcast.com

As for projects I've got in the works, there's quite a bit and at the same time, there's not much.  What I mean by that is, I've got a lot planned, but it'll be awhile before any of it comes out for the public to see, so it's not even really worth telling you guys about xD
The one thing that I'll be posting up really soon is the next episode of my Majora's Mask "Let's Play"...hopefully.  It's been on hiatus (only 3 episodes in? Jeeeeeez!) due to me having problems with capturing the audio from the game.  I decided I'd rather wait awhile and fix it than release a bunch of episodes with crappy sound.  I think I've got the problem fixed now, but I haven't tested it yet, so I'm not sure.  I sincerely hope so, though; I've already got people nagging me for more!

I've also got about 3 AMVs in the works, along with another 2 or 3 ideas running through my head that I haven't started yet.  The 3 in the works have all had previews released, which you can find by clicking here.  As for the others, though, they'll be surprises.  Aren't you excited?!  No, you're probably not...xD

I also have some fandubs and covers that I plan to do in the future.  2 of them will be birthday gifts to some of my friends (which I can say, since they already know about it xD).  I promised to dub/cover one song of their choice, so I've got those written down and am working on learning them well enough to start recording sometime soon.  Well, I'll record one of them soon.  The other won't come out until November, so I've got plenty of time xD

And as for voice acting, I've been promised a part in an animated series on YouTube.  I won't go too much into that, however, because I don't know what part I'll be playing, yet.  I'm going to wait until it's announced to tell you guys more about it.
I have also been cast as Eva-Beatrice in a fandub of Umineko no Naku Koro ni.  It's a bit exciting, as her cutesy, yet psychotic voice is incredibly fun to do, but it's also disappointing, because I absolutely hate her guts xD
I'd like to do some scene-dubs sometime soon, but I'm not sure what, or who to work with.  >.< It's a bit annoying, really, but I'll think of something soon.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted here in so long!  What have I done? Dx

Time for some serious updates.  What happened while I was gone?  Let's see...

About a month ago, I was told I had Tendinitis, and therefore had to take a 2-week break from the computer.  Let me tell you, it sucked, but it wasn't umbearable.  Like, I didn't have to totally ditch my computer; I just couldn't type too much (no chatting or FaceBook or blogging, basically).  And I also couldn't play any video games, which REALLY sucked because I had JUST gotten one of my FullMetal Alchemist games back from my best friend.
Now, however, I'm alright.  I've just been told to cut back, or it'll come back.

While I was taking that 2-week break, I got A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, a book by Mark Twain, from the library to help pass the time.  And as long as I've had it, I'm STILL not done with it, lol!  Oh well.  Iz what I get for not being a bookworm.

Since then, I've finished re-playing my FMA game (which was FMA 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixer), and started on a bunch of other games, too.  Due to a chain reaction started by my friend, Jose, 4 people, including myself, ended up playing Super Mario 64.  One of which completed the whole game -- all 120 stars -- in about 3 days.  Curse you, Julian, leaving me, Ben, and Megan in your dust! D:<
(That was a semi-unintentional shout-out to all of my friends, btw. lol.  <3s for all of you guys :3)

I also recently began a "Let's Play" of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for a forum called Nintendo World's.  If you'd like to check it out, this is the channel it's on, just look for the playlist with the game's title.  And while you're there, check out everyone else's videos, too!

In other, more important news, I went and got my driver's license yesterday.  Whoo!  No more relying on my parents to take me places~!
And, to go with it, my parents got me a sexy new wallet with the logo for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on it.  Am I a happy Bakuri?  Hell yeah <3
Ironically, I got it shortly after a friend *coughMegancough* started a "Let's Play" of the same game.  Derp.

Oh no!!  Tomorrow's the last day of Spring Break!!  Sadfaces

Anyways, my Lullaby For You fandub is coming along alright.  I have the first verse done for sure, I love that part!  The first chorus is done too, though I'm probably going to change it.  It sounds way too harsh D: 

I also have part of the second verse, though I'm not too sure how I feel about it.  I think what I need to do is take a break and come back when I haven't heard my own voice for the past hour xD

In other Kuri-related news, I went to an awesome Mexican resturaunt for lunch today.  It was great   If you guys have something called Fajita Nachos on the menu of your local Mexican place, try it next time you go.  I promise, they're AMAZING!

I downloaded the TWEWY soundtrack off of iTunes yesterday (don't remember if I mentioned this in yesterday's blog xD).  It's amazing.  Even if you haven't played the game, go look up some of the songs on YouTube.  Some of my favorites are Lullaby For You (obviously xD), Hybrid, Calling, Deja Vu, Give Me All Your Love, and Junk Garage.  If you guys can't tell, I'm zetta obsessed.  SEE?!  I'M EVEN USING THE WORD ZETTA IN THE PLACE OF "VERY", JUST LIKE SHO!  Next I'll be calling everyone zetta sons of digits...xD

Seriously though, the soundtrack's worth checking out.  Of course, the game is too, but it's almost impossible to find.  Hence why I got my copy off of Amazon.com xD

Don't have much else to say, aside from that everyone should stay sexy!

Didn't do much today.  Worked on a nice little paint-by-number thing I bought forever ago and was too lazy to work on.  I must commend my own patience, really -- this thing is a pain in the butt, and my eyes are killing me from reading the tiny numbers xD
I might take a picture when it's done!

In other news, I have several fandubs in progress.  I just took a break from working on Lullaby For You, aka the ending theme to The World Ends With You.  It's an amazing song for an amazing game, and I'm hoping that I don't put it to shame (lolrhyme) <3

I've also been considering doing some Disney songs.  Of course I mean old classics.  Some I have in mind are God Help the Outcasts from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Won't Say I'm in Love from Hercules, and maybe Reflection from Mulan.  And, if I feel like giving my evil voice a test, I might do My Lullaby from The Lion King II.  All in all, it sounds like it'll be fun :3

Isn't it funny how, in my last blog, I said I was gonna try and post once a day...and that was 4-5 months ago? xD

To be completely honest, I forgot all about this site.  I feel so bad! D:

I haven't been able to work on much in awhile.  School has been kicking my ass >.<  I did upload an AMV to YouTube since forgetting about this, though, so I'm going to add that to the videos in a bit. 

I also just finished The World Ends With You last night.  It was kind of funny, really.  The power went out, so I just sat around in the dark playing my DS, cussing the final boss for replenishing his health instead of letting me kill him xD
(A DS makes a very good flashlight, by the way.)

I'm now listening to the TWEWY soundtrack, which I bought on iTunes.  Don't you dare say I'm obsessed, you zetta sons of digits!  ...Oops, Sho reference...Oh well, Sho is awesome anway :3

In other news, we celebrated 2 birthdays this weekend.  My dad's was Saturday, and my grandma's was Sunday.  The cake had people laughing, and across the top it said "You're HOW old??"  xD  The look my dad gave was hilarious.  It was the best cake I'd had in a long time, though.

Well, in a matter of hours, I have this site up and organized just how I want it!  I'm loving this butterfly theme.  At first I didn't expect the black background with gold butterflies to go well with the white background and pink butterflies xD  But it works out rather nicely; I like it <3

I'm thinking about adding a forum, just for the sake of letting people discuss stuff.  Not 100% sure if I'm going to go through with it or not.

I really hate how empty everything is right now, though.  But, I don't want to use up all of my space, so for now I just have my favorites of old and ...old-ish stuff.  I plan to update stuff as I make them, so that'll fill things up sooner or later.  lol~

I'm also hoping to post a blog every day, or at least every other day.  If nothing else, just an update of what's going on lately, what I'm working on (or at least what I'd like to work on), what's keeping me from doing anything, etc.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm completely regretting the classes I chose to take in school.  Together, my 2 AP classes are going to kill me.  Mostly, AP English Language and Composition.  I was just recently incredibly happy because I finished an essay that took me forever to do, and then the teacher throws another in our faces.  This one sounds easier, though, so we'll see how that goes.

As for AP US History, I finally decided to put forth a bit of effort in that class so I don't have to cheer just for passing, but rather for getting GOOD grades, like I do in most classes.  So now reading the textbook will take at least an hour or so out of my day.  Boo.

My other classes are easy, though.  Spanish has been pissing me off, as usual, because people don't know how to shut up.  S'all cool though, I don't really care if they fail. 

Physical Science is totally easy, which is why I love the teacher I have.  I had her for Biology last year, and it was really easy then, too.

Guitar's starting to get on my nerves, because we're getting into harder cords, and my fingers are short and can't reach some of them. xD

Math is totally epic, though.  We had a lesson Wednesday about only symmetry.  SYMMETRY.  In case you don't know, I absolutely love symmetry.  It was great <3

I plan to stream some more Ocarina of Time, probably tonight, but maybe tomorrow instead.  It depends on my workload.  If tonight, it will probably be between 9:00-11:00 EST.  With the homework I have, 2 hours is all I can spare xD
